Under Milano
UnderMilano è un progetto fotografico nato per iniziativa di Tiziano Demuro e Sergio Raffaele.
L'idea è nata in maniera spontanea ad ottobre 2018. Entrambi i fotografi, per ragioni diverse, hanno iniziato a spostarsi per Milano utilizzando soprattutto la metropolitana. Da fotografi, hanno trovato sin da subito la dimensione metropolitana carica di stimoli.
La volontà di UnderMilano è quella di indagare gli ambienti e gli spazi del sottosuolo milanese, focalizzando l'attenzione su un vissuto quotidiano, fatto di attimi, dettagli e atmosfere.
La routine del viaggio in metropolitana che si compie ogni giorno, scontato e passivo, diventa in UNDER MILANO un'immagine che sposta l'attenzione non sul luogo oggettivo, ma su come esso viene percepito. Non si tratta solo di un'osservazione estetica della realtà ma di un'indagine attiva sullo spazio urbano metropolitano. L’obiettivo è svelare un paesaggio intimo e nascosto che ognuno leggerà con il proprio occhio attraverso la decodificazione di suggestioni visive.
UNDERMILANO is a photographic project, an initiative of Tiziano Demuro and Sergio Raffaele.
This idea was born spontaneously on October 2018. Both professional photographers, for different reasons, moved to Milan and starting to take the underground every day. As photographers, they immediately found in the underground an inspirational dimension.
The goal of UNDER MILANO is to investigate the environments and spaces of the Milanese underground, focusing their attention on the everyday lives, as a combination of instants, details, and atmospheres.
The everyday journey by the underground, predictable and inert, becomes an image in UNDER MILAN, that shifts the focus not to the objective place, but to how it is perceived. It is not just an aesthetic examination of reality but an active investigation of the underground urban space.
The goal is to reveal an intimate and hidden scenery that each one of us will read from their point of view decoding visualsuggestions.
